Reprise #1 [Voice > Video] Encore!

The sun's barely rising when he's ushered quite quickly out into the snow-layered town, no good-bye and a newly-acquired Chatot flying behind him. He had originally thought it would be positive to get going quickly, to head and find his family and friends and home... and then he felt the freezing early-morning cold. Oh holy chicken breast, the cold. Pumpkins are warm-season vegetables; apparently his body temperature is reflecting that, which is why he takes a moment to stand there shivering, his lack of a coat and gloves seriously being problematic right now.

They travel a small while to a tiny eating establishment that just seemed to be opening for the day.

[The feed switches on as voice at first, a bird's whistle filling the speakers with its simple repeat tune; it's amateur, but it's catchy.]

Hoo~... he~re we go!

[The still-partially shivering voice will be familiar to some, but the face that just clicked onto the feed's screen'll jog your mind if you can't quite place it. His inquisitive face breaks into a big, toothy grin as he realizes that- yes- it' broadcasting! Which means, people, and more importantly his family are on the other end.]

Wou~ld've said I was back earlier, but our mom sent me away pretty quick this time. o~hoo, think she remembers me?

[A single eyebrow raises with that playful little smirk that always comes out in situations like these.
The fact he turned up at the door of her house to collect his ill-as-fuck wife, who had considered burying this 'Mom' alive aswell... Well, I think there are reasons why she's going to want to get rid of him.]

'Didn't mean to leave in the first place, would've stayed in an instant if I could've. Still, that makes three times from the Otherworld, hm? Maybe it'll bring back some'a the others? It'd make my day to see my little Coraline again.

I'll try'n be home as so~on as I can, kiddos. 'Gonna need to make my way to the next town soon, too! I'm freezin' like a pumpkin out there.

[Hardy-har, Other Father.

As he goes to shut off the feed, he gives a wave to the screen and begins to whistle a much more complex tune that fits perfectly in with the Chatot's, though it does seem to be vibrating a bit. 8| stupid cold.]

[Huh. Where there's someone he didn't expect to see again. Gamzee really didn't give much of a fuck for this guy before, but it's interesting to see him back with the same memories.]

[Harry was writing when the gear is flipped on and it takes him a moment to realize who exactly is talking and where it's coming from. He closes the laptop he was typing on and picks up the gear.]

Oh, you're back.

[Well it's not a cult member, but it's still the child kidnapper. Lisa the Togetic floats onto his shoulder and looks down at the screen as well.]

[Hey, Other Father, does this young lady look an awful lot like a certain Egbert? She most certainly should!]

Oh, you're a returnee? What a rough time to get brought back, in the middle of winter! I'm sure if you ask, the Professor will let you stay in his lab to dodge the cold until someone can pick you up!

Other Father! Oh, man, you're back!?

[Two people in the same short period, holy cow. Demyx almost wonders why he had that massive breakdown a few weeks back in the first place. Demyx is incredulous, actually, just staring at the screen with a look nearly identical to 'deer in headlights.']

_{[Jack sort of spends his mornings now draped over one of the huge armchairs in his house and flipping through the feed without actually looking at the gear's screen.

He's almost ready to hit the NEXT button when a familiar sing-song voice makes him pause and actually sit up. Jack puts his glasses on just to make sure he hasn't gone crazy. As Father's post continues, a stupid grin threatens to cut his face completely in half.]

[There's a shuffle then a sleepy looking Dave is smoothing his hair out while his shades cover his eyes.] Oh hey, you're back.

I can put some winter gear into the pc for you to nab. If Rose doesn't see this and come get you.

[Hm, interesting. So, people can return with their memories, too.]

I wouldn't put it passed her to remember some people, honestly. Still, that was some fancy whistling. You're quite talented with that.

_{[She remembers Coraline... cute little kid. But... she'd been gone before this guy EVER showed up in Johto...]}

[Jade answers this as soon as she sees it on the network. She's obviously ecstatic- not only is he back, but he actually remembers them!]

[ Odd. She can't quite but help thinking as much after watching the feed in its entirety, but then, odd easily applies to the entire situation in which she's found herself, not to mention with varying levels of weird, creepy, and -- well, a lot of things. She's more inclined to focus on a surprising particular couple of words this man's said than allow her thoughts to get away from her. That means keeping questions about 'home' and 'kiddos' on the backburner now in favor of: ]

Back? Again? [ Yep, those are surprising. ]

Father! [[Oh my god she is so happy to see you. Look at this smile.]] It's so good having you back. Do you need a ride? I'm in Goldenrod right now and I won't really be going anywhere any time soon.

[At first Envy just stares, surprised. It's always a surprise when people come back, more of one when they actually remember. And after Nanao recently came back without her memories, this is a very, very welcome surprise. He grins widely, a genuine one, and for once doesn't try hiding it. He's glad to see you again, Other Father.]

Then it's lucky for you that you missed the end of the world blizzard.

[He's one of the people who's been returned to his world before, huh? He does talk like he has plenty of friends here - and like he's bubbling over with delight to see them again. It's a comforting thing to see, somehow!

Meanwhile, though, she keeps her smile on to keep the mood light, just in case, and be polite while satisfying curiosity about the name he mentioned.]

Is Coraline... your kid's name?

[She's absently reading the network as she travels, and this thread catches her eye because apparently everyone knows him. And he remembers them. It's all a bit strange. She she turns the camera on eventually, offering a polite nod.]

I hadn't realized people returned with their memories intact.

[She had heard it was possible, but that wasn't the same as seeing it.]

[While Crow didn't particularly care about this guy disappearing, you certainly won't see him celebrating his return, either. The duelist is still wary of the man in many ways, and not even trying to hide his lack of enthusiasm when he, er, greets him.]
